Post-Polio Syndrome

Patient Presents

Client with kitchen cart Nancy Caverly, a 60 yo female client diagnosed with post-polio syndrome, is currently experiencing increased fatigue, balance problems, and loss of flexibility. "Something is starting to change," says Nancy. "I can't reach down and pick things up off the floor or pull a 5 lb. package of sugar from the cabinet anymore. It is difficult to move around even though I'm using my walking cane."

Her primary care physician refers her to your clinic for evaluation and recommendations by a transdisciplinary team.
