Joan was employed as a beautician since age 25. She met and married her husband, Robert a year later at age 26. She continued to work as a beautician for 14 years until she was diagnosed with renal failure and became too weak to stand on her feet all day. After she received her first transplant, she was able to return to work as a nanny for 2 boys from the time they were infants to age 5.

No history of tobacco, or alcohol.

No tattoos, or drug use.

Married x 35 years to Robert, no children.
