Recovery after Brain Aneurysm

Return to Work

I returned to work in Dr. Hannink's lab in the Biochemistry Department. Dr. Hannink wanted to help me get back on my career track in any way that he could. After Sherri had informed him about my aneurysm while I was at the rehab hospital, he invited me to return to work for him even though I was still in a wheelchair and we then had no idea whether I would regain 100% of my cognitive abilities. He has been a great mentor and trusted friend and has been instrumental in allowing me to "ease back" to lab work.
