Breast Cancer

Lymphedema

Lymphedema is a frequent side effect of a mastectomy because of the removal of lymph nodes for biopsy. It may appear weeks to years after the breast is removed or may not occur at all.

What are two methods for measuring lymphedema?

When would it be appropriate to order a Jobst garment and/or intermittent compression unit?
