Chemotherapy and Radiation


Chemotherapy and/or radiation present as additional treatment options post-surgically.

Both present with side effects including:

  • myelosuppression
  • peripheral neuropathies
  • hair loss
  • anorexia

In Karen's case the drugs of choice were Adriamycin®, Cytoxan®, vincristine and prednisone.
