Mechanical Low Back Pain

Introduction

This case introduces the reader to a conservative approach used by many physical therapists and other health care professionals in the prevention, evaluation and treatment of biomechanical low back pain (LBP). This intervention was developed by Robin A. McKenzie of New Zealand. See the McKenzie Institute site for further information. Some background material and three possible syndromes are briefly presented.
