After completing the exercise project, Jody attempted to maintain her exercise program. Five years later in 1990, she became involved in a second exercise experience, a cross-training program sponsored by the University of Missouri. The cross-training program consisted of 4 weeks walking, 4 weeks water aerobics, 4 weeks aerobic dance, and 4 weeks using cardiovascular equipment, all in a supervised setting.
