Rheumatoid Arthritis and Aerobic Exercise
Current Exercise Program
Now, six months after the TKR surgery and a course of physical therapy,
Jody has returned to exercise. Currently, her exercise program consists
of stationary bicycling for 15 minutes, walking on a treadmill for 20-30
minutes at 3.5 mph completing 1–1.5 miles, stretching, and a body conditioning class for 45 minutes three days a week.
Third Exercise Program
Self-directed gym and exercise classes in a community-based setting. These tables also show Jody's results in 1985, before she began exercising.
