The rest of the family didn't say much to me at all. I felt I probably would be the one to do it. Felt I'd be a match. My fiancée supported me and let it be my decision. I wanted to get it done before dialysis was necessary.

I got scared the morning of surgery, but I guess that's natural. Except for my scar, I would not know it. My body hasn't had any changes. I feel the same.
